Vienna Woods Wine Tour
Discover world-class wines, picturesque villages & wonderfully green landscapes on our farm-to-table Vienna Wine Tour
Wines, Vines & Good Times!
The German name for Vienna is 'Wien'. Rearrange that and you get wine. If that hasn't convinced you already to join our wine tour, then consider that Vienna is surrounded by renowned wine regions, from the sun-baked Burgenland to the South-east and the famous Wachau Valley to the west. The province of Lower Austria is considered the cradle of Austrian viticulture, so we want to take you to the beautiful vineyards of its Thermal Region, just south of Vienna. Home to traditionally quaint wine villages and unique wines, we showcase this lesser known yet truly gorgeous Austrian wine region...

Bespoke pricing options for larger groups
Naturally, we can also host larger groups than advertised, so do please get in touch with us directly to discuss bespoke pricing options for your private wine tours.
Wine enthusiast tour leader
I think the best way to broaden one's palette is to adopt a region-by-region approach. Having bravely embarked on this daunting challenge 😉 I was so impressed with the beauty & wines of the Thermal Region that I was inspired to start this company!
Wine tastings
On our Vienna Woods Wine Tour we will introduce you to all of the Thermal Region's speciality wines, either sat among the vineyards in summer or alongside one the region's finest producers during a winery tasting.

Vienna Woods Wine Tour Meeting Point
We meet at the main entrance of Vienna's 'Hauptbanhof' (main station). The station is very easy to reach using taxis, uber, or trams depending on where you are staying, but the easiest way is on the u-bahn (underground/metro). If you are coming from the city centre get on the U1 red line in the direction of Oberlaa, making sure to get off at 'Hauptbanhof-Südtiroler Platz'. Go upstairs until you reach the main concourse level and walk outside to the main entrance - the one with the big clock and the words 'Wien Hauptbanhof' on the glass wall above the doors. We meet here at 09:10 in summer (Apr-Oct) and 09:40 in winter (Nov-Mar).
