VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKET FOOD TOUR ITINERARY
2pm - Tour start in the 1st district
We meet and greet close to one of the first district’s most traditional Christmas markets, right in the heart of Vienna at Am Hof. The nearest U-bahn station is either Stephansplatz or Herrengasse on the U3 orange line. Full details of how to get to the meeting point can be found below.
Christmas market #2 in the 7th district
From the first district we’ll take a very short hop onto Vienna’s legendary public transport network to our next Christmas market in the ultra hip and trendy 7th district. Wander through narrow, cobble-stoned lanes and enjoy Christmas delicacies among the locals.
Christmas market #3 in the 18th district
After a short bus ride, we then venture into the greener outer suburbs of Vienna, to experience an atmospheric light filled Christmas wonderland in the elegant and classy 18th district of Vienna. Tourists rarely make it this far into local culture, so we look forward to sharing with you this hidden Christmas gem.
Return to the city center and market #4!
The tour finishes back in the city center at the Art Advent Christmas market at Karlsplatz. With its selection of home and hand made foods, drinks, & crafts, this is truly a highlight and will be sure to leave you with yule tide feelings. It would be rude of us not to finish our Christmas food tour with a typical Austrian Christmas dessert, and a final warming mug of Glühwein here, before saying goodbye at around 6:30pm.

VIENNA CHRISTMAS MARKET TOUR DIRECTIONS
The meeting point for all of our Vienna Christmas market tours is the exit of Herrengasse U-bahn station. This is right in the city center and also on the orange U3 metro line. It is very easy to walk to from anywhere within the 1st district, and there are several famous locations close by, including Cafe Central and St Stephan's cathedral.
